About the Author

Kathy Wollenberg has a degree in geology and is inspired to write pieces that blend her knowledge of science with her love of fiction. Ever since she was a tree-climbing, trail-finding kid, Kathy has been jotting down stories and poems. One of those trails led to a creative writing class, where Kathy joined a writers’ group that she has been meeting with for twenty years.

She lives in Northern California. Far Less, is her debut novel, for which she has received two Silver Nautilus Book Awards, a Gold Foreword Indies Award, and Bronze and Gold CIPA EVVY Awards. Far Less was selected as one of Book Trib’s “20 Favorites That You’ve Probably Never Heard Of,” in 2021 and 2022.
